About Active Ultra Briefs

The all-white Active Ultra Brief is the newest hybrid brief that combines the advantages of a mechanical (Velcro®-like hook and loop) fastening system with a standard all-plastic shell. This combination gives you the advantage of an outstanding absorbent diaper without worrying about oils or creams getting on the tapes or body of the diaper and interfering with the ability to close and refasten. Both the diaper shell and the extra-strong frontal fastening panel are all white, making it perfect for wearing under any type of clothing.

The Active Ultra Briefs have similar absorbency to the Secure X-Plus and Bambino line, but because of the hook and loop fastening system the sizes run a little smaller, so if you have not yet tried them, we recommend that you try a sample pack to make sure of the fit before ordering in bag or case quantities.

We also suggest that when opening the diaper to put it on, you pull the tape tabs open slowly and carefully, as there is a small amount of adhesive that has been applied to the tapes to help them stay closed during the converting process. Pulling the tabs hard and fast might tear the plastic shell. Once the tab has been fully opened there is no further problem with fastening it to the front panel, and the diaper may be fastened and refastened to easily readjust. When fastening the tape (hook) tab, press it down to the frontal (loop) panel to assure a firm fit. Repeat the procedure when refastening.

Warning: there are a limited number of fasten and refasten cycles that you will get from this mechanical taping system. The more gently you pull the tape tab off when readjusting, the longer it will last (the reason is in the nature of the micro mushroom hook design). The faster and harder you pull the tab off the front panel the more fiber it pulls from the loop material and eventually the hooks get clogged with fiber from the frontal loop panel – the same holds true for any item with a mechanical or Velcro® type closure system.
