Official Response to Canada Issue
We at Bambino Diapers would like to apologize to our Canadian friends for the problems you have been experiencing with Creatingyourdesires In an attempt to better service our customers in Canada we solicited inquires from individuals/companies who had the resources to purchase in container quantities of our product for re-sale in Canada. At the time Creatingyourdesires met that criteria and represented herself as a new medical supply dealer not a distributor. So basically we sold our products in container quantities and she resold the product to individuals. We have never had any ownership or financial interest in Creatingyourdesires, we have no records or knowledge of her customers or her business dealings. We are aggressively exploring two different means of servicing our customers in Canada. First being we are negotiating with UPS and FedEx to supply directly from the US and secondly we are in discussions with individual/companies to become a new supplier of our products. We will keep you posted of our progress on our website at www.bambinodiapers.com.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hope we can order in canada soon. I knew Louise zorbe was on the sly, she told me she had a death in the family. Yeah right.
I didn’t know Louise, but I am one of those casualties that paid but didn’t get the product. I too hope there will be a Canadian connection or have the ability to order on line with bambinodiapers.com .
i wasnt afected by this situation,
whenever i ordered from her i would be on the phone to her 2-3 days later asking for an update on my order
im the kind of person who will hound people until they hold up their end of the bargan
credit cards are more secure than paypal in my opinion
Luckily I got my order myself from this retailer but I too got the whole “sick daughter” thing.
Took a month and a half after she contacted me to get it and a paypal claim for which she waited till the last day to ship it (she didn’t respond at all and it was about 4 hours before paypal would reverse the charge).
My understanding for the delays were more to do with her misrepresenting the imports and/or her drop shipping agreements with Canada Post, along with poor management and business skills (Business in a box stupidity).
That combined with the fact I was telling all of my Canadian friends to file complaints/claims and contact bambino about it was my assumption of what brought her down (and made alot of people unhappy)
Given the circumstances I think it was a real person with a real buisness (as well as the fact the shipment was real and trackable) but other than whats said here any allegations of fraud or “slyness” I don’t think are true.
But knowing there was direct and malign misrepresentation here wow. It makes me glad a store like that is now gone.
I just hope I don’t have to pay 4 dollars a diaper to enjoy these thanks to duty, exorbitant shipping, brokerage, and SCA’s (Tena Brand) “Special Status” as a Canadian maker (which makes everyone else cost more by default.
Bambino since it is made in North America may also want to look at obtaining a NAFTA certificate to reduce the duty’s associated with this category of product
Hopefully a REAL incontinence supplier like QLS or another name could do this rather tangled import work properly and legitimately.
I looked at the costs, for licenses, to import Bambino’s.
At close to $80,000 to Ottawa for the licenses alone, it’s a bit out of my price range.
what we need to do is get a group of us together with the dow
then we could get a price break buying in quantity
