How to Use the New Teddy Comfort Stretch Tapes

Our Teddy comfort stretch tape is actually a 2-piece tape called a “Target Tape”, and the blue end tab is meant to stay put on the diaper as a marker, so that the tape can be refastened in the same spot in case temporary unfastening and refastening at the original location is desired. However, you have the option of removing and discarding the blue tab, and then fastening the tape on the printed frontal landing zone like the original tapes on our Classico or Bianco diapers if you prefer. Either way, you should first find a comfortable fit as you would with our original tapes. Do not overstretch the tapes at this point because they are meant to provide additional stretch as you bend or twist, not to draw them tighter after fastening. (The stretch tapes, like a rubber band, have a “memory” and will return to their original shape and dimensions unless stretched beyond a point called the elastic limit - you might want to try stretching one of the tapes by hand just to observe how much “give” it has before fastening for the first time).

Also, please realize the tapes are not meant to be a “size extender”. Because the new Teddy product won’t be available in size large until late August, it’s possible that some enthusiastic size large users have ordered in size medium just to try them out. Of course, we’re happy to accept orders for size medium, but we want you to be satisfied with the product, so please keep the size issue in mind. We at Bambino Diapers would like to apologize to our Canadian friends for the problems you have been experiencing with Creatingyourdesires In an attempt to better service our customers in Canada we solicited inquires from individuals/companies who had the resources to purchase in container quantities of our product for re-sale in Canada. At the time Creatingyourdesires met that criteria and represented herself as a new medical supply dealer not a distributor. So basically we sold our products in container quantities and she resold the product to individuals. We have never had any ownership or financial interest in Creatingyourdesires, we have no records or knowledge of her customers or her business dealings. We are aggressively exploring two different means of servicing our customers in Canada. First being we are negotiating with UPS and FedEx to supply directly from the US and secondly we are in discussions with individual/companies to become a new supplier of our products. Bambino Diapers Concern Update

Our most recent container of Bambino Diapers were produced on our new Double Drum Form Adult Diaper machine. This machine incorporates the newest diaper manufacturing technology which everyone should be very excited about. It is equipped with sensors that can detect if a tape tab is missing and reject it from the production line. In addition another sensor insures the right amount of “Fluff” and “Polymer” that are within each diaper based on the specifications.

The loose bags you are finding are caused by the factories failure to adjust the new automated bagging correctly. Also the new machine created too much suction on the core causing the core to be more compressed than our original specifications and the compression roller was also not adjusted which has caused the thinner feeling core that some have experienced.

We apologize for the change on this manufacturing run. The performance, weight and the amount of the “Fluff” and “Polymer” has not changed. The new machine will be calibrated to produce the products that you all have grown to LOVE and please remember we stand 100% BEHIND OUR PRODUCTS.
